Hello my love,
My name is Katie Nicholson and I share my offerings through Matrizan. I love to sing, dance, and empower people to have mind-blowing sex. I offer Tantra Coaching, Tantra Temples, & Heart of Tantra at my studio in Hove, Neighbourhuud.
Going through the mill with my own sexual experiences led me on a quest around the world to find help. Now, I share the practices which have truly worked for me. I’m one part history nerd with huge reverence for lineage, and one part wild woman who loves a controversial new idea. I’m on a mission to create a space for tantrikas in Brighton & Hove (and online) who may have come to tantra for sexual healing, are interested in traditionally rooted spiritual expansion, and are open to new interpretations and ideas (such as queer tantra, wahoo)! I also work online, at Manhuud, and at retreats including Real Awake!
Here’s a short brag about me in chronological order…
My school created a dance enthusiasm award for me, I have a Grade 6 Distinction in Musical Theatre, & I was President of the Street Dance Society during my History undergraduate studies. I did my dissertation on the sovereign wellbeing of Indigenous Australians.
Needing to do something about by sexual wellbeing & mental health, I dove straight in to doing a teacher training in traditional White Tantra with Rishikesh Yogpeeth. Healing my yoni and empowering my sexuality has drawn me to interweave Red and Neo-Tantra into my practice and what I teach. In my infancy of space holding, I also had A LOT of therapy & hypnotherapy.
Feeling inspired to go deeper with people, I got a top notch coaching training with IIN, the world’s largest nutrition school based in New York. My lecturers included Deepak Chopra and Christine Northrup. I followed this up with trainings in Fertility Counselling and Hypnotherapy.
And then, realising that Pandora’s Box of curses and gifts didn’t have a bottom, I’ve thrown myself into the depths of my own personal shite involving a 10-day vipassana retreat, courses with Layla Martin & Sabrina Lynn, and a 3-month Ayahuasca apprenticeship in Iquitos where I learnt about sound, energy, and plant medicine healing.
Having gone pretty far “out there”, I decided to cross the bridge to the world of science. I’m currently waiting for the results of my MSc Psychology degree where I researched the effects of tantra on sexuality.
Whilst undertaking this mammoth matrix initiation, I also launched my own studio in Hove with my partner Jacques. It’s called Neighbourhuud and it’s full of tantric magic.
In my pursuit to sprinkle some tantra into people’s lives, I’ve guided hundreds of people to remember the power of their sexual energy.
